Hi There!
I'm Sam the girl behind the camera. I grew up in a tiny, single wide trailer in Ephrata, Washington. My family had nothing and yet everything all at the same time. I moved to Western Washington when I was 12 and I eventually met my amazing husband Jake. If it wasn't for him I would never have had the courage to make photography my full time career but I'm so glad I did. We have 4 beautiful children and live in a small town. I am so appreciative of where I started in life because it has made me beyond grateful for where I am now and prepared for where I may be in the future.
So why do I do what I do?
Its pretty simple I do it because I love it. I love capturing those special memories for people. As human beings as much as we may want to deny this we all want to be remembered by someone. Most of us may never have a page in the history books. May never do something sooo great that the entire world remembers it, and that's okay. What we can have when we're gone is a story. A story that our great grandchildren hear about when they see a photo of us laughing. Or someone in year 2120 at an antique shop looking at random old pictures. I want them to see and know what kind of person I was just by looking at my photo. That is what I want to create for others. A story of love, happiness & all the raw, un-posed moments.
